In 1986 John and Heidi Hoppe moved from Gardena, California where John was the college age pastor at Gardena Calvary Baptist Church to begin Cornerstone Community Church.
We exist to CELEBRATE God's presence, to DEMONSTRATE God's love, to COMMUNICATE God's Word, and to EDUCATE God's people.
We believe that men and women receive salvation through a complete commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and that He lived a sinless life. We are redeemed by His atoning death and resurrection. He ascended to the right hand of the Father and will return in power and glory.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, ultimately authoritative words of God in all matters of faith and practice.
We believe in the total inability of men and women to obtain salvation through human effort.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is empowered to live a victorious life.
We believe that everyone shall stand before the judgment seat of God to give account of their earthly life.
We believe that at the resurrection of the dead, those in Christ will be given immortal bodies and rule with Him in His kingdom forever.
Membership is not required to attend our church. We are a non-denominational church so EVERYONE from all backgrounds is welcome.
